Admin reply: Our current chief engineer Rhiner Johnson replied: The chief engineer at KISN in 1959 Byron Swanson, built the board. I asked him about that very item. Pots were "pan source" from one machine to the other, not single source faders.

Love to hear you again. Difficult to get your signal in Columbia city, but recently able to get you in St. Helens! Don't know why the change, but I love it. Keep the music coming.

Admin reply: Yes Columbia City is just outside the "fringe" of the signal. St. Helens is inside it and the river helps "skip the signal a bit. We are a low power station. Only 2 watts from the top of Mount Scott, but we are a Mighty 2.

As we emailed you before we love the station, DJ,s, music and old ads! We are doing a Psychedelic Sixties party in July (trying to paint a 1967 Mercury in water colors like John Lennon's Rolls Royce too!). We have tons of great music from 1967-1968 and did not know if there are any KISN jingles we could download or ads for the station we could put on our walls. Would advertise the Mighty 95.1. We could pay for them. Thanks!
Mike-

Admin reply: Sorry we don't have any of the jingles or posters available for download or public use.

OMG!!! Your station is a dream come true.
I grew up listening to this music in NE Ohio and after college moved to L.A. where KEARTH 101 played the oldies I loved.
My move to the Bay Area has found me wanting this music and I rely on my collection.
This weekend I was in Portland visiting Mom and my sisters when I found your fantastic station.
Thank you for the boundless joy!
:o
I cannot wait for my next visit.
:D

I am so excited to have KISN back!! This was all I listened to growing up as this was what my parents listened to and I was so sad to return from college and see it was no longer on the air. This has absolutely made my week! My Husband tells me I am the oldest 30 year old he knows, as I am singing along to all the songs you guys are playing. Thanks for bringing the good stuff back!

Hi,

I'm enjoying listening to your station. One question: April 12th at about 9:30 p.m. you played a version of the song "Walking the Dog". Can you please tell me who's version that was? I've heard a ton of bands cover this song, and this was the best version I've ever heard.
Thanks,

Kurt

I am having SO MUCH FUN listening to your station! So many songs I haven't heard for 40 or 50 years and I can still sing along with them. "Sea Cruise," "Workin' in a Coal Mine," Three Dog Night... Keep up the fun songs!!

Wow, I can't wait to find your station in my car! I heard all those great old songs playing at my local post office and asked them what station. Take me back to my youth! (The early 70s.) Thanks for reviving KISN!

Listened to KISN for many years at 97.1. Loving your song selection and especially the lesser known ones. It's like having brand new songs that convey positive messages. Will patronize your advertisers. Thanks so much. Josh Hubbard

Hi, I was wondering how I can find out a song that was played at around 145pm today on your station. I'm really curious! Do you post track lists?

Thanks! I'm a huge supporter
